Maroon 5 premieres new music video for smash hit "This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like a Motherf***er"

Earlier this week on Saturday (May 30), the guys from Maroon 5 premiered their highly anticipated new music video for their latest single, "This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like a Motherf***er", on their official YouTube channel. The video was shot and directed by Travis Schneider (known by fans as bootswallace) and was co-directed by frontman Adam Levine.

The music video for "This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like a Motherf***er" depicts what (loosely) goes on backstage between sets at a Maroon 5 show. The video begins with Levine stepping out of a shower wearing nothing but a towel, but fans were surprised to find the singer dropping the towel baring his own ass on screen for a solid 2 seconds. Once viewers got over the dramatic butt-baring scene, Levine gets dressed and walks up stage to join his band to perform the single in front of tens of thousands of fans at the SSE Arena Wembley. The music video was shot on May 28 as part of their international Maroon 5 World Tour.

This week, "This Summer's Gonna Hurt" climbed up the charts moving up to No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100, to No. 21 on the Mainstream Top 40, and to No. 19 on the Adult Top 40 chart.
